“Let yourself be silently drawn
by the strange pull of what you really love.
It will not lead you astray.” Rumi
Led by Megan Hounslow, our multidisciplinary studio creates calming and intuitive spaces that embrace both natural and design elements. We invite our clients on a creative exploration of design, resulting in customised, meaningful interiors.
We are driven by the pursuit of elegant and enduringly sustainable design.
The qualities of existing spaces, the building history and character are considered with sensitivity and respect. Similarly, each object, furniture piece, and material we curate speaks of this careful ethos. We endeavour to tread lightly on the environment while leaving a lasting impression through our interiors.
Fascinated by the way the spaces we inhabit can positively influence our quality of life, we find tangible ways to promote wellness through responsive, human-centred design. Whether an engaging eatery, a boutique venue or an inspired home, all are vibrantly reflective and supportive of the lived experiences within.
Parallel to her design work, Megan’s active art practice fuels a tactile expression of texture, colour, and composition. This first hand appreciation for the creative process inspires close collaborations with expert artisans on our interior projects, resulting in unique, skilfully hand-crafted details.
Our experienced design thinking has been honed to suit a broad client base of residential, hospitality and commercial clients across boutique and corporate groups.
Based in Melbourne, we have contributed design work on treasured local landmarks, most significantly for the National Gallery of Victoria, St Kilda’s iconic Prince of Wales Hotel and the award-winning Willow Urban Retreat in Armadale.
Distilled from over 20 years of multidisciplinary design undertaken both locally and abroad, our work is grounded in open communication and detailed research.
