The Wolf of Windsor
Moody, masculine, and luxe – an eclectic den of delight.

In an old Victorian pub building, the exclusive upper floor forms the private members’ bar and function area. Here, inky dark walls envelop patrons in a dramatic new environment, adorned by an array of carefully chosen, authentic antiques.

Our approach was to source original furniture and lighting to create an atmosphere of intrigue within a grand existing space, complete with arched windows and original moulded ceilings. While the iconic brands featured may not be immediately recognisable, each addition brings an undeniable strength of character. The project was realised through close collaboration with local furniture enthusiasts and artisans.

A pair of 1970’s blue Italian Murano glass chandeliers overhead command attention, establishing a dramatic ambience. Original European lounges, upholstered in apricot and flamingo pink are thrown into sharp relief against walls of opulent turquoise and cobalt. Dark floors form a confident stage for hand-carved Elizabethan revival collectables and black leather Hans Olsens. Mid-century velvet armchairs are countered with delicate French parchment floor lighting.
The character and charm of this room comes with curating various quirky pieces spanning across different eras. Décor is refreshingly underived, a product of selective procurement that is unafraid to combine textures, colour and tone with striking art, furniture and lighting. We bring these disparate elements together to form a bold, harmonious new relationship with their heritage environs.
